«"Fixed Gaze" – Expressionism of Nature and Andean Fauna in Acrylic

On the canvas titled «"Stare"», We witness a sensitive and powerful tribute to the biodiversity of our ecosystems. The composition abandons the rigidity of scientific naturalism to deliver an expressionistic and majestic interpretation of the deer, achieving a mystical and immediate connection with the viewer through eyes filled with transparency and peace.

✨ Key artistic highlights of the piece:

Monumental Composition and Perspective: The vertical axis of the painting is dominated by the imposing portrait of the deer. Its large, asymmetrical antlers extend to the sides of the canvas, breaking the boundaries of the foreground and guiding the eye toward a background where lime-green hills and a low meadow covered with small red and yellow flowers firmly ground the scene.
Dynamic Textures and Strength in the Stroke: The animal's fur is rendered with short, vertical brushstrokes in a rich array of chestnuts, ochres, siennas, and whites. This interplay of overlapping strokes lends a remarkable sense of volume, relief, and organic character, demonstrating the authenticity of the artist's skill and the human touch on the canvas.
Chromaticism in Contrast and Thermal Equilibrium: The color palette showcases a masterful balance of temperatures. A textured sky in pure blues and white brushstrokes provides the ideal freshness and visual depth for the warm tones of the deer to burst forth with absolute luminosity, giving the painting a luminous vibrancy that revitalizes the surrounding space.
Vertical Format Ready to Display: With its vertical orientation and botanical and native fauna-inspired theme, this piece is ideal for highlighting main walls, hallways, or lobbies seeking a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere. The canvas comes perfectly mounted on its wooden frame, ready to hang.
