On the canvas titled «"Folklore"», The artist offers us a cutting-edge proposal rich in symbolism and local flavor. The work merges the human element of our folk dances with the exuberance of the land, transforming the painting into a visual poem that celebrates the roots and biodiversity that enrich our collective identity.

✨ Key artistic highlights of the piece:

• Symbolism and Festive Identity: The central figure stands out for her stylized traditional attire, consisting of a short-brimmed hat, black lace-up shoes, and a white blouse adorned with vibrant, colorful flowers. Her outstretched arms support a deep blue skirt finished with a festoon of concentric circles in green and yellow, evoking the movement and grace of our street parades and traditional San Juan dances.

• Monumental Background and Still Life: In a highly original compositional twist, the dancer is surrounded by large-scale fruits. These include a slice of watermelon in a deep vermilion red with prominent black seeds, a pineapple in a vibrant, sun-like yellow with its well-structured crown of green leaves, and a lime-green pear—symbols of the bounty and color of tropical fields.

• Chromaticism in Absolute Contrast: The artwork is a true masterclass in temperature balance. The base and upper sky transition in pure blues and soft purples, lending a sense of freshness. This cool background serves as the perfect backdrop for the vibrant yellows, reds, and greens of the central elements to burst forth, filling any room with an invigorating light.

• Authentic Handmade Texture: Upon closer inspection of the painting's surface, the dense and honest traces of the acrylic brushstrokes become apparent. The well-defined black outlines delineate each form with a human touch, sincere and spontaneous, demonstrating the immeasurable value of authentic craftsmanship compared to the coldness of mass-produced prints.

• Vertical Format Ready to Display: With its vertical orientation and colorful theme, this piece is ideal for highlighting feature walls, family dining rooms, hallways, or creative studios seeking a cheerful atmosphere with a strong sense of identity. The canvas comes perfectly mounted on its wooden frame.
